Changing the "Face" of Penteli Mountain

___________________Sunday 25th January saw a step in the environmental rebirth of the Penteli mountain.
An overwhelming number of more than 30,000 volunteers participated in the re-afforestation project and 40.000 trees found a new home and gave a feeling of optimism for renewed greenery which will contribute to a positive change in the Attica climate.
This was organised by SKAI and the Society for the Protection and the Regeneration of the Penteli Mountain and the BGS participated officially in this event.
Many of our members, together with the president Vassilis Zotos, took an active part in this unique re-afforestation project.
The “bravo” goes to all those BGS members who came along to this “environmental celebration” together with their families and friends.
