A very important dimension for the Society has been the building and maintaining of regular contact with all the British universities and colleges.

Communication and collaboration takes place on various fronts:

• All British universities are kept informed of key BGS events and activities which they in turn announce to their Greek alumni
• Joint ventures for special events such as conferences, lectures and seminars
• Organising alumni activities for a specific university
• Creation of BGS Scholarships in collaboration with certain British universities to enable Greek students to study in Britain
• Special BGS events on education and career development
• Contact with academics in various disciplines
• Active support of British university alumni associations in Greece
