BGS Group Dealing with Environmental & Sustainability Issues : Objectives
The broad objectives of the group would be:
- Propose and materialise contacts and collaboration with other organisations, institutions, and groups in Greece and abroad to materialise joint activities (presentations, lectures) as well as projects.
- Propose and organise presentations and conferences on various environmental issues.
- Propose and undertake the study of an environmental project. This could be with the creation of a specific group to deal entirely with this project.
- Propose and organise the presentation of a well-known and successful environmental project from another European country (especially the UK).
- Propose and undertake the presentation of environmental issues to schools and possibly organise “projects” with the participation of students.
- Identify and propose appropriate products and services focusing on environmental issues so a presentation and/or lecture could be organised through the society.
- Propose and help in the materialisation of getting sponsors and supporters for the realisation of any of the above activities.
