BGS and AKTO

The BGS Kifissos project has been adopted and will be inducted into AKTO’s curriculum.
“AKTO Arts & Design” is a private College of applied and fine arts and is validated by Middlesex University.   The Photography, Interior Architecture and Animation departments will adopt the BGS project as a model for the third year (BSc level) project.

The project would also create a cross-disciplinary project over these three departments which, we understand, has not been done before. Once ensconced thus in the curriculum, the Kifissos project would run for several years in all three departments.

The idea is to give the project the dynamic of a competition. Thus it is envisaged that it will run (during the academic periods) from April/May 2010 up to June 2012, with a lot of publicity and various competitions, prizes, publications, exhibitions, etc.
 
The three departments would continue to work in this relay for at least 2-3 more years. Given an exhibition for Photographers followed by a joint exhibition for Interior Architects and Animators, the Kifissos would thus receive enormous publicity.
The project received an overwhelming response from the public and the media at large...
