Welcome to the website of the British Graduates Society!

From my first visits to Greece as a student, through my earlier diplomatic posting in Athens, I have always been struck by the high value people in Greece place on a good education.   It is therefore a great compliment that so many Greek students come to Britain for their higher education, as they recognise the benefits – in life as well as career – that a British university can provide.   I am glad that many Greek graduates of British universities choose to maintain their link with Britain in part through their membership of the BGS, and by participation in its activities.   I am sure that the BGS will continue to fulfil this unique and valuable role, and that British graduates will continue to find it an agreeable home.   Please enjoy the website, and make your own contribution to the BGS.
